Kids & Youth
Kids & Youth
Calling all young adventurers and cycling enthusiasts! We're all about empowering young riders with the coolest bike skills on the block. The earlier you master those safe handling tricks, the faster you’ll zoom ahead with confidence on your trusty two-wheeled steed! Our courses are all about learning through fun and creative activities with rockstar instructors!

School Programs

Capital Bike's Everyone Rides and Ride the Road are two incredible courses designed specifically for students in grades 4-7. Developed by HUB Cycling and generously funded by the Province of British Columbia, these courses teach young cyclists to master the skills and confidence to ride to and from school. Our expert instructors visit your school to lead engaging lessons on essential road rules, traffic safety, and bike handling techniques.

We know that as kids get older (and taller), they quickly outgrow their bikes and it can get pricy. Capital Bike’s Lending Library is here to help!
Borrowing Policy
There is a lot of additional information on the Application Page (button below) that we should probably reproduce here on this page, things such as different sizes of bikes available and that it's free for residents of Victoria.
Equipment can be borrowed for up to one month at a time with the option for renewal depending on availability. One week before the due date, the borrower will be contacted with a courtesy email for a return or renewal reminder. We at Capital Bike thank you for returning borrowed equipment promptly and in good condition so others can enjoy them.
